- Compliance & Legal Framework (India & Google Play)
The Prozex Site Management Mobile Application (“App”) is developed, owned, and operated by Studio 4/9 (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”), the Information Technology Rules, 2011 (“IT Rules”), and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”) of the Republic of India. Additionally, this policy satisfies the User Data and Data Safety requirements established under the Google Play Developer Program Policies. This notice details how we collect, process, and protect your personal information. - Unambiguous Consent Framework (DPDP Act, 2023)
In compliance with Section 6 of the DPDP Act, 2023, by downloading the App, registering an account, or inputting any data, you provide your free, specific, informed, unconditional, and unambiguous consent to us (Studio 4/9) for processing your personal data for the sole purpose of operating the Prozex application, managing site expenses, and securing cloud backups. You may withdraw your consent at any time by requesting account deletion, subject to the erasure terms outlined below. - Categories of Personal Data Collected
We collect and process the following categories of data as a “Data Fiduciary” or “Data Processor” under Indian law and in accordance with Google Play Developer Guidelines:
- Basic Identity Information: Full name, official email address, verified mobile number, and Google profile details via Firebase Auth.
- Construction Site & Financial Records: Attendance logs, subcontractor lists, expense details, worker profiles, and construction site progress budgets.
- Media Assets: Digital photographs and documents selected by you for logos, profile badges, or transaction invoices.
- Technical Metadata: Device integrity statuses, security tokens, and diagnostic reports required to confirm compliance with security regulations.
- Purpose Limitation & Data Minimization
We collect your data strictly to enable operational features in Prozex. We do not sell, rent, lease, or trade your data or construction records to any advertising agency. All processed cloud backups are stored within encrypted Firebase servers and are completely isolated. Data stored locally on your device in the SQLite database remains inside a secure sandbox. - Shared Google Services & Third-Party Processors
For securing transactions and ensuring operational features, we utilize trusted third-party infrastructure. In compliance with the Google Play Policy, these integrations include:
- Google Play Services: Integrates core Android APIs, authentication utilities, and license checking.
- Google Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Storage, App Check): Used for secure authentication, hosting cloud backups, indexing sync files, and running API integrity audits.
- Google Play Billing: Manages secure payments and subscription authentication. We do not collect or store credit card or banking details.
- OpenWeatherMap API: Forecasts weather conditions based on coordinate locations. No personal identity is shared.
- DPDP Act & Google Play User Rights
Under the DPDP Act, 2023, and Google Play developer requirements, you hold the following statutory rights:
- Right to Correction: You can update your profile information in the Settings panel.
- Right to Erasure (Account Deletion): You can request complete deletion of your account. Once requested, a 7-day grace period is initiated. If not cancelled, all cloud-synced files, database records, and phone mappings are permanently deleted from Firebase servers, leaving no backup copies.
- Right to Grievance Redressal: You can resolve any complaints through our Grievance Officer.
- Reasonable Security Practices & Procedures
In compliance with Section 43A of the IT Act, we maintain reasonable physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards. The App uses secure HTTPS (TLS 1.3) protocols for transmission. It runs SafetyNet and root checks to block the App on rooted/jailbroken devices, preventing memory attacks on local databases. You agree that these procedures constitute adequate security under Indian laws. - Designated Grievance Officer
